I run Red-Tailed Workshop as a small, one-person woodworking practice. I focus on durable, practical pieces with clean lines and a craftsman feel—built slowly, on purpose, and meant to be used for a long time.

Most of my work is for people in the Rochester and Webster area who want something better than disposable furniture but don’t need a full custom millwork shop.

Types of projects

• Small furniture: side tables, benches, shelves
• Home pieces: built-ins, storage, simple cabinetry
• One-off projects: problem-solving builds for specific spaces

If you’re not sure whether your idea fits, you can still reach out—I’ll tell you honestly if it’s a good match.

How it works

• You send a message. A rough idea, dimensions, and a photo of the space if you have one.
• We decide if it’s a fit. I’ll give you a realistic sense of scope and price range.
• I build at a realistic pace. This is a solo workshop—timelines are honest and not rushed.
